My Womb Healing Journey: From Miscarriage, Fibroids, and PCOS to Motherhood and Yoni Mack

Hi sis, I’m Mackleen — but you might know me as Yoni Mack.

I’m a proud Black woman who has faced more womb challenges than I ever imagined:

  • Three heartbreaking miscarriages.
  • A myomectomy to remove fibroids — only to have them return.
  • A swollen uterus.
  • PCOS.
  • Heavy, painful periods that stole my joy and drained my energy.

At one point, I was told that carrying a baby would be nearly impossible.
But I didn’t give up on myself. I knew there had to be another way. And I found it.

💛 How My Healing Started

Through deep self-care, prayer, and natural wellness, I began healing my body.
I stopped my uterus from swelling. I got rid of the fibroids that kept returning. And one day, I found out I was pregnant again — and this time, I carried my beautiful baby girl full term. She’s almost two and a half now, and I still look at her in awe.

My journey back to myself led me to yoni steaming. At first, I went to a professional spa and paid $60 per session. I was told to steam 2–3 times per month, and while I saw results… I couldn’t afford to keep up. I was a teacher on a limited salary, and it just wasn’t sustainable.

Then I found out I could yoni steam at home — and everything changed.

🌸 From Pain to Purpose

I bought a yoni steam seat and herbal blend for the same price as a single spa visit.
I started steaming twice a month — and in just two weeks, I noticed major changes in my cycle. Less pain. Lighter flow. More emotional clarity.

During the pandemic, I went deeper. I got certified in yoni steaming.
I started sharing what I learned.
And then on September 24th, 2020, Yoni Mack was born.

👑 Why I Created Yoni Mack

I built this brand because I was tired of feeling broken — and I knew I wasn’t the only one. I wanted to empower Black women and beyond to reclaim their wombs, their healing, and their power — without waiting on a prescription or overpriced appointment.

Now, I create sacred, handmade products rooted in intention, ancestral wisdom, and self-love — from yoni oils to steam kits and everything in between.

Yes — I’m also a filmmaker (shoutout to #TeamGirl), but this? This is my heartwork.Helping women heal is my purpose.
